Wallace’s Farm Shop & Restaurant
Visitors Welcome The
Wallace’s have been farming on the Blackdown Hills in Devon
for nearly twenty years, rearing herds of Highland cattle, red
deer and North American bison, as well as our old friends the
sheep, pigs, ducks and chickens.
Visitors to the farm will
have a chance to see the Highlanders, the deer and the bison
close up as they graze or roam across the fields.
After a walk around the farm, why not have a cup of tea
and a slice of homemade cake to make your trip an experience
to remember.
The Shop As well as
the unique range of meats, our farm shop sells fresh local
produce including vegetables, eggs, chutneys, jams and fresh
bread. The
delicatessen displays a huge range of quality cheeses, olives,
salamis, homemade pies, quiches and salads.
The Farmhouse
Restaurant Our restaurant offers a wonderful selection of
light lunches and cream teas, using the quality produce that
can be found in our shop.
Our traditional Sunday lunch is incredibly popular and
our chef is constantly developing fantastic new ideas that we
sell in both the restaurant and the shop.
Nature and Nurture On
the farm, all our animals are raised with true care and
respect in their natural surroundings.
They have both the time and the space to develop at
their own pace, as nature intended.
Early summer is a wonderful season at Wallace’s as
the Highlanders, the bison and the deer all start producing a
new set of young.
We’re proud of the
traditional butchery on our farm, retaining the highest
standards throughout and this is very important to us.
